Reflection

Another ending but this time, it will never be happened again.
Last grading of the school year. Last in everything. But I do had a lot learned in this subject.
            Now the quarter ends. But still lessons I had learned will always be remembered in my heart and mind. I hope this doesn't stop me from learning ahead as it ends.
We all know that a start ends, and end starts. The way we started and how it ends. The way we ended and how it starts over again.

Thank you ICT subject!

Change: It Starts With Me

There is only one thing that is permanent in this world, CHANGE. It is maybe for the better or for the worse. But this time, I want a CHANGE and it starts with me.
        Nobody can go back and start a new beginning but anyone can start today and make a new ending. Maria Robinsons quote can be applied to the concept of change as anyone can alter the way they are in their lives and become something new. Change is a state of transformation which results in a fundamental shift in the way we perceive and interact with the world. It is the process of being made different, altered in appearance, turned into something or someone new. The concept of change is very important in our lives as it gives us new experiences whether it is positive or negative.

        For the past years, Im just a happy-go-lucky person. But this time, Im wanting everything to be changed. And Ill be the one to start.

My Dream My Future

          ”The best way to predict your future is to invent it.”
          2025. I see this year as the price of my sacrifices and hardworking for sixteen long years in studying just to reach my dream to be an accountant someday.
          January 6, 2020, Monday. It’s my first day as an accountant to the company where I work. Same routine, eat then take a bath, but this time, more energetic. I’m so happy to have this work and so happy for the new surroundings, people who are around every day. While walking in the street, I remembered all the things in my life that happened in my school years. SACRIFICES, HARDWORKING, HAPPY AND SAD MOMENTS, everything.
          When I graduated in high school, I went to UNP and took the course, Accountancy. It was very hard but I came through it. Thanks to the people who helped me pass through this test in my life and of course, thanks to God, for always guiding me. I graduated last 2019. And passed the board exam last 2020.
          I’ll make my family live in the place where it has peace and they’ll have safety. The money that I saved from my salary of being an accountant for last 5 years, I’ll use it for them and for my future family.

          But then, someone woke me up from my daydream. Oh my God! I’m just daydreaming. But the things that I thought are really the one that I’ve always dreamed of. And I hope, for the next 10 years, all of these will be true. Not just a daydream.

Insight: Ylocos Kannawidan Festival

The 8th Kannawidan Festival. KANNAWIDAN. This festival at the end of January celebrates the best of Ilocos Sur culture, from traditional dress and folk dance to tribal rituals and marching band contests.
An esteemed and respected cultural foundation of Ilocanos who hold a deep respect for our heritage, instilling pride and sense of identity among all Ilocanos committed to ensure the conversion, preservation, and promotion of the Iloco cultural, artistic, historical and intellectual heritage.
Ilocos Sur has a rich heritage and unique culture that are to be preserved for the next generations because it is observed that many of these traditions, songs, dances and other Ilocano culture are not familiar to the younger generations already. Children of today are paying more attention to the modern and novelty dances they seen on the television than the traditional ones. There is also a need to evaluate the different products of the different municipalities and the agricultural products and livestock of the farmers and fisher folks. Because of this, the provincial government of Ilocos Sur conceived a festival that will highlight these culture and traditions and attract local and foreign tourists as well. They call it the KANNAWIDAN Ylocos Festival, it is also a time to commemorate the anniversary of Ilocos Sur as a province since it was separated on February 3, 1818.
We commit to preserve and help maintain the Ilocano cultural heritage;
We commit to rekindle the pride the Ilocanos in their arts and culture, values and tradition;
We commit to nurture the sense of Ilocano identity in our youth and future generations;

We commit to promote awareness of the Ilocano arts and culture in the Philippines and abroad.

Reflection

Time flies so fast. Imagine? It’s like 3rd grading period is just last week. But now, 4th grading period already begins. How I wish I could slower the time.
Just like past grading periods, I learned a lot again, more things about HTML and blogs.
Problems I encountered this Grading Period? Honestly, none. But the challenge is I should know what to do, and all the tags. I address these challenges by searching, asking friends, asking my teacher or classmates.
              Moving on, I will accept all challenges and do my best to surpass them. And this time, I'll take it seriously. STUDY HARD! Aja!

NEW YEAR, NEW ME

   Year 2014 had passed really fast. Now, we have to face 2015, another new year of our life. And if New Year comes, it means we have to improve our good habits and change the bad ones. As they say, “New Year, New Me.”
   My new year’s resolutions are, to be more patient to everything and every time, to be more generous and kind to others, to be more responsible and just simply happy. Laugh more and live more.
   They say that, all New Year’s resolution will never be done or it was useless. But this year, I’ll prove them wrong. At least, two of my New Year’s resolution, I will do.
   Just wait and see the new me.

   Happy New Year!

The True Essence of Christmas

"The True Essence of Christmas"

          Christmas is one of the seasons in a year when all the members of the family get together. Christmas is a season of giving and receiving.
          Cold air/ environment. On which we call, "angin ti paskua" is a sign that Christmas is coming near. But what is the real or true essence of Christmas?
          Christmas is love, joy, and home. And the spirit of Christmas is a spirit of forgiving and giving. Christmas is love, it is the time when loved ones can show appreciation for each other. It's also a great time to use that love to build bridges of understanding, acceptance and forgiveness. And the spirit of Christmas is that of giving and sharing.
          And lastly, Christmas is the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ. A time for us to understand that lessons from Jesus & reflect on them.
          In today's time, some doesn't even know the true essence/ meaning of Christmas. Our Lord Jesus Christ, who taught us all what real, genuine, & unconditional love is.
